It's that time of year again. I can't wait for the River to open up so I can go try the new canoe. Just got a Coleman Exlorer 166 from Costco. We did the Pollett River last saturday, April 17, and man, what a blast. We had done Little River by Parkindale on good friday. That was a nice river.
STEELYN writes: Steven & I will be going down too with our friends, Jackie & Stewart. We'll be going in style, with a flat bottom "scanoe" with a small motor, don't know the HP, but it's not much, but just enough that we don't have to paddle...lazy uh? ha! ha! So hopefully the weather will be nice!!! :) So we'll see you on the river!! :)

ArcticMonster writes: I decided to attend the meeting last Thursday and yes, it's set up for the 24 with an ICE DATE set for May 1st.
Little River is opened up, and so is the Polett from what I heard. We did the little river last friday and it's a nice river.
